Women’s Program
By partnering with like-minded organizations like Fort Follies, we are able to increase access, opportunity, and community connection for women.
Our women’s program aims to close the gender gap by addressing barriers that prevent more women from joining. Some of these include:
Training Rides with sweepers (shorter route) and mid-paced leads (longer route)
Women’s Weekend in June (subsidized women’s gravel clinic and ride)
Childcare and childcare grant
Bike Sports TV Garage videos aimed to teach basic gravel bike maintenance in a replicable way
Direct outreach to Front Range women’s cycling organizations
Additional opportunities to come!

Meet Janna Dickerson
Women’s Program Leader Janna Dickerson was born and raised in Fort Collins in a bicycle-loving family and enjoys a good adventure on the bike, or simply commuting around town. Janna has been part of the Fort Follies almost from the beginning, joining in 2015, and loves being part of a team aimed to bring the joy of bikes to more women. In addition to riding with the Fort Follies, she joined Team Rio Grande in 2019 and has raced on road and gravel, including every year at the FoCo Fondo!
